川崎(かわさき)駅と周辺(しゅうへん)をご紹介(しょうかい)します Introducing Kawasaki Station and the surrounding area.

川崎(かわさき)駅(えき)周辺(しゅうへん)は大(おお)きなショッピング(しょっぴんぐ)モール(もーる)が複数(ふくすう)有(あ)り、いつも賑(にぎ)わっている。

There are several large shopping malls around Kawasaki Station, which is always crowded.

川崎(かわさき)駅(えき)の東(ひがし)側(がわ)には地下街(ちかがい)アゼリア(あぜりあ)があり、数多(かずおお)くの飲食店(いんしょくてん)が軒(のき)を連(つら)ねている。

On the east side of Kawasaki Station is the Azalea underground shopping center with numerous restaurants.

アゼリア(あぜりあ)へ降(おり)りると、すぐにある自然光(しぜんこう)を取(と)り入(い)れた吹(ふ)き抜(ぬ)けが美(うつく)しく近代的(きんだいてき)。

As you descend into the Azalea, you immediately see a beautiful and modern atrium with natural light.

川崎駅(かわさきえき)の西側(にしがわ)には巨大(きょだい)なショッピングモール(しょっぴんぐもーる)”ラゾーナ(らぞーな)川崎(かわさき)”がある。
元々(もともと)は東芝(とうしば)川崎(かわさき)事業所(じぎょうしょ)があった場所(ばしょ)で、事業所(じぎょうしょ)閉鎖(へいさ)に伴(ともな)い再開発(さいかいはつ)され、2006年(ねん)に開業(かいぎょう)したまだ新(あたら)しいショッピングモール(しょっぴんぐもーる)。
名前(なまえ)は異(こと)なるが、”ららぽーと”の仲間(なかま)。

Lazona Kawasaki, a huge shopping mall, is located on the west side of Kawasaki Station.
Originally the site of Toshiba's Kawasaki Works, the mall was redeveloped following the closure of the Works and opened in 2006.
Although the name is different, it is a member of the "Lalaport" family.

ラゾーナ(らぞーな)川崎(かわさき)へ入(はい)ってすぐには、緑(みどり)が眩(まぶ)しい広場(ひろば)がある。
ここでは、アイドル(あいどる)のミニライブ(みにらいぶ)などいつも様々(さまざま)な催(もよお)しが行(おこな)われている。

Just after entering Lazona Kawasaki, there is a plaza with dazzling greenery.
Here, there are always various events, such as mini live performances by idols.

川崎駅(かわさきえき)とラゾーナ(らぞーな)川崎(かわさき)は2箇所(かしょ)の陸橋(りっきょう)で繋(つな)がっており、北側(きたがわ)の通路(つうろ)は人(ひと)も少(すく)なく落(お)ち着(つ)いた雰囲気(ふんいき)。

Kawasaki Station and Lazona Kawasaki are connected by two overpasses, and the northern corridor is less crowded and more relaxed.

川崎駅(かわさき)はJRと京浜急行線(けいひんきゅうこう)の駅(えき)は、別(べつ)で離(はな)れている。数分(すうふん)歩(ある)く必要(ひつよう)があるので、JRから京浜急行線(けいひんきゅうこうせん)への乗(の)り換(か)えの際(さい)は時間(じかん)に余裕(よゆう)が必要(ひつよう)。

Kawasaki Station is separate and distant from the JR and Keihin Kyuko Line stations. You need to walk a few minutes, so you need to allow plenty of time when transferring from JR to Keihin Kyuko Line.

京浜急行(けいひんきゅうこう)の駅(えき)から少(すこ)し歩(ある)くと、”銀座街(ぎんざがい)”がある。
銀座街(ぎんざがい)は川崎(かわさき)駅前(えきまえ)にある商店街(しょうてんがい)。
巨大(きょだい)なショッピングモール(しょっぴんぐもーる)が複数(ふくすう)ある中(なか)でも、商店街(しょうてんがい)も活気(かっき)がある。
きれいなショッピングモール(しょっぴんぐもーる)もいいが、地域(ちいき)独特(どくとく)の小(ちい)さな店(みせ)が立(た)ち並(なら)ぶ商店街(しょうてんがい)はたのしい！

A short walk from the Keihin Kyuko Line station, you will find "Ginza-gai.
Ginza-gai is a shopping street in front of Kawasaki Station.
Even though there are several huge shopping malls in the area, the shopping district is very lively.
A beautiful shopping mall is nice, but a shopping street lined with small stores that are unique to the area is a lot of fun!

大(おお)きな道(みち)を隔(へだ)てて、銀座街(ぎんざがい)が続(つづ)いていると思(おも)ったら、道(みち)を渡(わた)ると銀座街(ぎんざがい)でなく銀柳街(ぎんりゅうかい)。
字面(じづら)も似(に)ているし、最近(さいきん)まで名前(なまえ)が違(ちが)うことに気(き)がつきませんでした(￣▽￣)

Across a large street, I thought Ginza Street continued, but when I crossed the street, I found it was not Ginza Street but Ginryu Street.
The characters are similar, and I didn't realize the name was different until recently (Polish).

銀柳街(ぎんりゅうがい)にある激安(げきやす)の飲(の)み屋(や)アカマル(あかまる)屋(や)さん。

Akamaruya, a very inexpensive drinking establishment located in Ginryu Street.

銀柳街(ぎんりゅうがい)の隣(となり)にはもうひとつのショッピングモール(しょっぴんぐもーる)のチネチッタ(ちねちった)の入(い)り口(ぐち)がある。
入(い)り口(ぐち)から可愛(かわい)い雰囲気(ふんいき)で気持(きも)ちが高(た)まる演出(えんしゅつ)です。

Next to the silver willow street is the entrance to Cinecitta, another shopping mall.
The cute atmosphere from the entrance is a production that enhances the feeling.

ヨーロッパ(よーろっぱ)を思(おも)わせる色使(いろづか)いが異国感(いこくかん)たっぷりで歩(ある)いているだけでも楽(たの)しいショッピングモール(しょっぴんぐもーる)。

The shopping mall is fun just to walk around, with its exotic, European-inspired color scheme.

川崎(かわさき)駅(えき)の東(ひがし)側(がわ)には、ヨドバシカメラ(よどばしかめら)の入っている”川崎(かわさき)ルフロン(るふろん)”がある。
ここの９階(かい)と１０階(かい)には川崎(かわさき)水族館(すいぞくかん)（カワスイ(かわすい)）がある。
まだ行(い)ったことがないので今度(こんど)行(い)ってみたいと思(おも)う。

On the east side of Kawasaki Station is the Kawasaki Luflon, which houses Yodobashi Camera.
The Kawasaki Aquarium (Kawasui) is located on the 9th and 10th floors of this building.
I have not been there yet, so I would like to visit there next time.
