The East Exit station building has been recently renovated and cleaned.
Unlike the retro Takeshita Exit, it now has a modern design.
This renovation also created the West Exit, which provides direct access to the west side where Meiji Shrine is located.
On the right side of the Takeshita Exit, a large commercial building called "WITH HARAJUKU" has opened.
WITH HARAJUKU" has an open-air atrium, giving it a sense of spaciousness.
It was fun just to walk around the playful design.
Personally, I am glad that IKEA is here. I love hotdogs.

It is a fashionable little street by the name of Brahms Street.
The main street, Takeshita-dori, is very crowded, but once you enter one of the smaller streets, you can walk at a leisurely pace.
