品川(しながわ) Shinagawa

品川(しながわ)駅(えき)は山手線(やまのてせん)の南側(みなみがわ)に位置(いち)するターミナル(たーみなる)駅(えき)。
品川(しながわ)駅(えき)という駅名(えきめい)であるが、駅(えき)のある場所(ばしょ)は東京都(とうきょうと)品川区(しながわく)ではなく港区(みなとく)にあり、品川(しながわ)駅(えき)の南(みなみ)には北品川(きたしながわ)駅(えき)(京浜急行線(けいひんきゅうこうせん))がある。
「北品川(きたしながわ)の上(うえ)に、品川(しながわ)駅(えき)？」と少(すこ)し不思議(ふしぎな)なことになっている。

品川駅内の新幹線乗り場 — 品川(しながわ)駅内(えきない)の新幹線(しんかんせん)乗(の)り場(ば)

2003年(ねん)に新幹線(しんかんせん)の品川(しながわ)駅(えき)が開業(かいぎょう)したことで、東海道(とうかいどう)エリア(えりあ)への利便性(りべんせい)が向上(こうじょう)して、再開発(さいかいはつ)が進(すす)んでいる。
新幹線(しんかんせん)始発駅(しはつえき)の東京(とうきょう)駅(えき)から1(ひと)つ目(め)の駅(えき)であり、全(すべ)ての新幹線(しんかんせん)が止(と)まる。

With the opening of Shinagawa Station for the Shinkansen in 2003, the convenience to the Tokaido area has improved, and redevelopment of the area is underway.

{品川(しながわ)}{駅(えき)}の{高輪口(高輪口)}を{国道(こくどう)}1{号線(ごうせん)}から{見(み)}た — 品川駅の高輪口を国道1号線から見た

品川(しながわ)駅(えき)の西側(にしがわ)にある”高輪口(たかなわぐち)”。
国道(こくどう)1号線(ごうせん)に面(めん)しており、海中(かいちゅう)トンネル(とんねる)のある水族館(すいぞくかん)やホテル(ほてる)などの商業(しょうぎょう)施設(しせつ)が多(おお)くあります。

The "Takanawa Exit" is located on the west side of Shinagawa Station.
Facing National Route 1, there are many commercial facilities such as an aquarium with an underwater tunnel and hotels.
