早稲田言語学院の理念は「共生」です。ここでいう「共生」とは、人々が言語、文化、民族の違いを乗り越えて、共に働き、共に暮らしていける社会のことです。文化を形作るもの、民族意識の源はともに言語です。早稲田言語学院は言語教育を通じて、各国の人々が相互に理解しあい、人々の「共生」が実現できると確信しています。
以上が早稲田言語学院の教育理念の大枠であり、具体的には留学生ひとりひとりの個性を尊重しながら、実用的な言語教育のみならず、「広い国際知識」「豊かな感性」「共生の心」を育み、異文化の人との橋渡しができる国際感覚豊かな若者の育成を目的としています。グローバル化が進む現在の国際舞台で通用する有能な「国際人」を輩出することで、世界の人々の「共生」の実現を目指します。

The philosophy of Waseda Language School is "Kyousei" (living together).
